Shepway have just released this press release. Please put the dates in your diaries and make sure you get to at least one of the sessions.
“Two public exhibitions on plans that will shape the future of Princes Parade are being held this month.
In April Shepway District Council’s Cabinet decided that a new swimming pool and recreation centre, new homes and new public open spaces should form the basis of a planning application.
Based on the brief, Tibbalds Planning and Urban Design has produced a masterplan showing where those things could go on the council-owned site.
The two exhibitions will give people the opportunity to look at the masterplan, talk to representative from Tibbalds and other specialist consultants, and leave written comments.
The events are being held at Seabrook Church Hall on Tuesday 29 November from 11am to 5pm and at Hythe Town Hall on Wednesday 30 November from 2pm to 8pm.
Comments and feedback from the two sessions will be included in the planning application when it is submitted to the council as Local Planning Authority.”
